I have been in designing for almost 18 years. these days my thoughts are going ahead of my ability to execute them. Some times I have a space in my mind but not being able to make it tangible enough to execute. The gap is disturbing.
Maybe it’s just me, but I love the idea of “the gap”. When my thoughts and creative mind goes ahead of my ability that only means I have a challenge to test my skills against. When I use to work in design, it often became monotonous work. Doing the same things over and over and over again. There’s always a trend, like the web 2.0 reflection look. When something challenging and creative sprung it was a nice change of pace.
